PML Thambuttegama Branch was pleased to provide financial and resource support for the Sewing Machine Repair Training Programme organized by the Women’s Affairs Division of the Rajanganaya Divisional Secretariat. The primary objective of this programme was to enhance the vocational skills of women seeking self-employment opportunities and to strengthen their economic independence.
Under the guidance and direction of Mr. Chandana Kumara, Regional Manager of PML, the event was attended by Mr. Sajith Chathuranga, Officer-in-Charge of the Thambuttegama Branch, along with branch staff members and officials from the Rajanganaya Divisional Secretariat.
Contributing continuously to improving community livelihoods, introducing new income-generating opportunities and strengthening the future of individuals through skills development is an integral part of PML’s social responsibility.
